RACK ACROSS AMERICA PROGRAM

The Rack Across America program (RAA) is a trail hour program for members of the
Racking Horse Breeders’ Association of America (RHBAA) and their registered
Racking Horses. This program is owned by the Pleasure Association of the RHBAA.

Horses accumulate trail hours by keeping a log of their rides by the time they are moving on trails. For instance, if a horse and rider completed a four hour ride, but one hour was spent visiting with friends or eating lunch, then the total hours for that ride would be 3 hours. This program is not meant to be competitive but to be accomplished at the speed and timeframe that the rider and horse are comfortable with. The program now goes to 3,000 hours with incentives/ awards. Rules and awards are listed on the RAA Rules (See PDF Download below).

To register a horse for the RAA program, you need to be a member of the RHBAA and the RHBAA Pleasure Association. Membership dues are paid annually at the first of the year or by the Winter Meetings (the 2nd week of February). Since the amount for the dues can change, they are listed on each application/ membership form.



RAA newsletters are published in The Racking Source with each issue
(usually bi-monthly) or through email as they are submitted to The Racking Source.
